Sami Zayn and Karrion Kross at each other’s throats again.
Karrion Kross and Sami Zayn are not only against each other but also against each other’s morals. While Karrion Kross wants Sami Zayn to turn heel and use unfair tactics to win, Sami Zayn wants to stick to his morals and keep being the face. This has created a tug-of-war between the two that initially started as a verbal altercation but soon became physical.
Sami Zayn has been a superstar in WWE, but has yet to win a championship. He lost his match to Randy Orton at the King of the Ring Semifinals and was pissed off about his loss when Karrion Kross thought mocking him would be a good thing. This was the first time their altercation became physical as Sami Zayn punched him in the face and announced that they would face each other soon.

Sami Zayn and Karrion Kross face each other at Night of Champions. Karrion Kross made his in-ring return after a long time against Sami Zayn after trying to get inside his head backstage for so long. They had an explosive match at Night of Champions, and Sami Zayn was able to beat Karrion Kross. While everyone thought the dispute was finally over, Karrion Kross had some other idea.
The Harbinger of Doom, Karrion Kross, has constantly put Sami Zayn through hell. Sami Zayn’s dark adversary has attacked him multiple times ever since their match and is hellbent on forcing Sami Zayn to admit that he is flawed. Karrion Kross cost him the opportunity to be part of the Gauntlet match for the #1 contendership for the World Heavyweight title.
Sami Zayn returned to action against Karrion Kross before being fully fit, and another lead pipe assault to his midsection helped Karrion Kross to pin him. These two will now face each other on day 1 of the biggest event of this Summer tonight.

Sami Zayn is speculated to win the match and get over Karrion Kross for the second time. He might, however, use unfair means to prove Karrion Kross’ point right that he is flawed. The match might have multiple interruptions, especially from Scarlett Bordeaux, which might frustrate him enough to turn evil against Karrion Kross.
